The Saint Michael the Archangel Theatre Department is proud to present this year’s musical: A Year with Frog and Toad written by Robert Reale and Willie Reale. With its timeless themes of kindness, loyalty, and enduring power of friendship, A Year with Frog and Toad is a must-see theatrical experience for the entire family.
The SMA Theatre production of A Year with Frog and Toad plays in the evening on March 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are available to purchase on the St. Michael the Archangel website, at smacatholic.org. We can’t wait to see you there!

Congratulations to SMA senior Esmi and her four teammates from other local high schools who attend Herndon Career Center. They garnered a 1st place finish at the Missouri Culinary Competition! Esmi and her team walked away with a score of 94.75, beating the second place team by almost 20 points! Good luck to Esmi as she moves on to the National competition in Baltimore in April.
St. Michael partners with several area Career and Technology Centers, including Herndon, Summit Technology Academy, and Fort Osage Career Center. In the heart of our school stands the Community System where each person can be recognized and valued. Each student is placed in one of four Communities during the Welcome Home Assembly at the start of school. Communities help students connect with each other by setting aside time each day to build authentic relationships, form servant leaders, have fun, and build up one another in Christ. Congratulations to these outstanding student athletes for their hard work and dedication this season.
St. Michael students had the opportunity to donate their hair for Children with Hair Loss. Children with Hair Loss, is a non-profit organization that provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss. Amazingly, we had a total of 29 young ladies donate 8 inches or more yesterday!
In addition to the hair donation, SMA raised another $1,000, which is the cost of one wig.
