St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School calls students, faculty, and staff to Know Truth, Love God and Serve Others. The retreat program exists to further the mission of the school by facilitating a space where students will have authentic encounters with Jesus Christ, experience the merciful Love of the Father, and be immersed in the Grace of the Holy Spirit. As part of our curriculum, students are taken on one overnight retreat per year with their class. Retreats will include opportunities for small and large group discussions, community building activities, intentional prayer, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Mass and Eucharistic Adoration.
All retreats will take place at Prairie Star Ranch in Williamsburg, KS. Transportation will leave and return to St. Michael the Archangel. Please see Parent Letter for additional information.

A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14 This retreat will provide an opportunity for students to reflect on the story of salvation and how their story is intimately and purposefully woven into God’s. Maintain the Flame – “Be who God made you to be and you will set the world on fire” – St. Catherine of Sienna. In a world that appears to consistently change, this retreat will offer students the opportunity to explore and wrestle with our Catholic belief of the infinite and unchanging Trinity. Students will be encouraged to dive deeper and ask hard questions pertaining to their faith so they are equipped with the wisdom and faith to maintain their flame.
Junior Retreat: (April 16-17, 2020)
Fan the Flame – “Tell [all people], My daughter, that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls.” – Jesus to St Faustina. This retreat will provide an opportunity for students to explore what it means to spread their love of Christ to others, through humble servitude. Small group and large group discussions will take place inviting students to open up their hearts to their vocation and examine how to embrace a life of Holy virtue.
