Christina Hymer

chymer@smacatholic.orgMrs. Hymer graduated from Archbishop O’Hara High School in 2013, and her home parish is St. Regis. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2018 with a MS in mathematics. At O’Hara, she was captain of the robotics team and currently coaches the robotics team at St. Michael with fellow O’Hara alum Mr. Joe Hollo. Mrs. Hymer teaches the dual-credit math classes at SMA: college algebra, pre-calculus, elementary statistics, and Calculus I (which she co-teaches with Mr. Jack Alsbach). Mrs. Hymer enjoys visiting the Lake of the Ozarks almost every weekend with her husband and family to enjoy nature. As Galileo said, “Mathematics is the alphabet with which God has written the universe.” Math is fundamental to our very existence, and Mrs. Hymer aims to bring this outlook to her students!
