COVID-19 Upate eff. 9/21/20
Out of an abundance of caution surrounding a cluster of COVID-19 infections, St. Michael the Archangel High School campus is closed and students have shifted to full time remote learning, through Friday, Sept. 25. This closure also impacts all football, softball and cross country events planned through Friday, Sept. 25. Homecoming 2020 activities will be rescheduled. School administrators will re-evaluate mid-week the need to remain in full virtual learning mode for a longer period of time. The school is following all CDC protocols, including additional extensive cleaning beyond its already enhanced disinfecting measures during the week, and is performing contact tracing in partnership with the Jackson County Health Department. The Diocese is asking that students and their families adhere to Self-Isolation and Self-Quarantine guidelines to prevent further spread of the virus.
