Science Teacher-St. Michael the Archangel High School (Lee’s Summit, Missouri)

St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School is seeking qualified teaching candidates to teach Science. Applicants should be practicing Catholics committed to the evangelization of the Catholic church with a desire to help form disciples of Christ. Preferred candidates have at least five years experience and a Bachelors or Masters degree in the specified content area. The teacher fulfills the mission of the Catholic Church by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The teacher provides the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. The teacher has decision making responsibilities in keeping with school policies and the Diocesan Administrative Manual. The position is hired and evaluated by the principal.

St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School is seeking a full time certified 9-12 grade Special Education Teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. The full time teacher will work with the students with exceptional needs and Student Education Plans. The candidate will demonstrate commitment to Catholic Doctrine, be well rounded in the field of Special Education and have some experience working with exceptional need students.
