SMA welcomes back Sr. Stephen Patrick next school year!  Sr. Stephen Patrick taught science at St. Michael the Archangel during its inaugural 2017-2018 academic year and is excited to be returning!  She joined the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 2005 and professed final vows in 2013.  Sister earned a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education at Eastern Michigan University in 2011 and completed her Doctorate in Cell and Microbial Biology at the Catholic University of America in 2018.  Sr. Stephen Patrick is currently collaborating on the Thomistic Evolution Project with a team of Dominican friars and scholars to create high school resources that teach the compatibility between authentic science and our Catholic faith.  She is also a member of the Society of Catholic Scientists.  Some activities that Sister enjoys include singing, contemplating the beauty of God’s creation, playing cards and sports, especially basketball.  She loves her vocation as a consecrated religious and is grateful for the people the Lord has placed in her life.
